Why did we choose the name “Green Bean Accountants?”
We’ll tell you why!
Because green is the colour of freshness, life and vitality – which is what we bring to our accounting services and bookkeeping services business in Perth, and what we want our business to bring to the world. We aren’t stuffy or formal. And we embrace innovations such as cloud-based accounting. If you are looking for a Quickbooks online accountant, Xero accounting, MYOB accounting or Sageone we are equally comfortable with all these online bookkeeping and accounting software.
Because we are passionate about sustainability. We’ve worked hard to create a green work environment. Our office furniture is recycled and upcycled second-hand furniture, we aim to use energy efficient appliances wherever possible, we minimise waste with recycling and have paperless bookkeeping and paperless accounting tax service options for likeminded clients.
Because we are “not your average bean counters”! We are friendly, relationship-focused, fun and easy to talk to.
Who We Are
The founders of Green Bean Accountants in Perth, Teresia Lindberg and Fredrik Gustafsson, created Green Bean from a mutual interest in sustainable business, work/life balance, and the drive to deliver a reputable accounting service and bookkeeping service that people continually recommend.
Fredrik and Teresia came to Australia from Sweden to study a number of years ago and loved Perth so much they decided to make their life here together. They are locals in the City of Cockburn and love the lifestyle, environment and people in their community.
Teresia (Tess) is the Principal Accountant. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Professional Accounting and a minor in Management. She is a CPA (Certified Practising Accountant) who has been working in the industry since 2008, and is accomplished in all major accounting software applications. The ones she uses most often are Quickbooks online (QBO Intuit), which is very user friendly and easy to adapt or convert to, Xero accounting online, MYOB and Sageone.
Teresia takes a friendly, personable approach to providing highly qualified and experienced professional tax accounting and bookkeeping services.
Teresia says:
“I like to get to know my clients because when you know someone, you understand their needs more fully. For me, the goal is always to ensure my client claims everything they are entitled to. I have a keen eye for detail and will always double and triple check everything. I need to be able to sleep well at night, so my professional goal is to maximise my client’s tax effectiveness and legal compliance.”
Fredrik (Fred) is the Office Manager for Green Bean. He holds a Bachelor degree in Asian Studies and is a qualified Library Technician, so his skillset in the business is administrative excellence and customer service skills.
Fredrik says:
“I have worked in a local library for several years so I am lucky enough to know many people in the local community. I am a people person, very interested in what people need and how I can help them. My focus is on providing the best service possible by running a tight administrative ship and ensuring our clients achieve top level customer satisfaction.”
