Jane

Jane was one of the founding employees at Green Bean Accountants; a chance encounter led to a long-lasting relationship of mutual respect and true friendship. She began working with Teresia before the business officially opened and has been integral to shaping its systems, training staff, and managing operations for over a decade.

With prior experience in both small and large organisations, Jane brought a strong foundation in administration and people management. Taking time out of the workforce to raise her two children further honed her adaptability, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Outside of work, Jane is deeply committed to community. She has led and contributed to numerous local initiatives, including the Coolbellup Community Association, her school’s P&C, and the founding of Cooby Cares. She’s also organised events like farmers markets, movie nights, and Christmas fairs — all aimed at building connection.

Jane thrives in customer service, always going above and beyond to support clients and bring warmth to every interaction.

Lisa

Lisa brings extensive experience to the Green Bean team, with a background spanning 20 years in customer service, retail management, and administration. She approaches her role in reception with a positive attitude, professionalism, and a friendly demeanour, ensuring that clients are attended to efficiently and courteously, even during peak periods such as tax season.

In addition to her reception duties, Lisa is a valuable member of the bookkeeping team. With 12 years of experience managing bookkeeping for her family business, she is currently formalizing her expertise through a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping. This qualification will support her efforts to expand Green Bean’s offerings in this area.

Lisa comments, “It is truly a pleasure to be part of such a dedicated and supportive team.”

Teresia

Teresia (Tess) is the Principal Accountant. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Professional Accounting and a minor in Management. She is a CPA (Certified Practising Accountant) who has been working in the industry since 2008, and is accomplished in all major accounting software applications. Teresia takes a friendly, personable approach to providing highly qualified and experienced professional tax accounting and bookkeeping services.

Teresia says:
“I like to take the stress out of tax with a warm, friendly, and non-judgmental approach. I understand it can be overwhelming, so I focus on helping clients understand the system and feel empowered. I take the time to get to know them, so I can ensure they claim everything they're entitled to. I need to be able to sleep well at night, so my professional goal is to maximise my client’s tax effectiveness and legal compliance.”

Kasia

Kasia is a Senior Tax Consultant at GBA. She has been working in the accounting and taxation field since 2018 and joined the GBA team in 2022. Kasia holds a Bachelor of Administration from Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, with a major in Accounting and Global Strategies. After relocating to Australia, she completed an Advanced Diploma in Accounting, the Registered Tax Agent Course, and a Diploma in Leadership & Management. She is currently enrolled in the CPA (Certified Practising Accountant) Program.

Kasia is experienced with all major accounting software platforms and confidently adapts to new systems as needed. She is known for her attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and willingness to tackle complex tax matters.

Kasia says:
"I love what I do, and I genuinely enjoy helping my clients. I go above and beyond to uncover all eligible deductions and ensure they receive everything they’re entitled to. I also make a point of offering tax advice tailored to each client’s situation, to help make the process smoother in future years. It’s exciting to be part of the GBA community and see it grow year after year."

Sonam

Sonam is a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong academic credentials and international experience. Originally from Bhutan, she holds a Master of Professional Accounting from Edith Cowan University (2019), a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Royal University of Bhutan, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Banking and Finance from India.

She began her career at the Bank of Bhutan, gaining five years of experience in banking and financial services before moving to Australia in 2017 to deepen her expertise in accounting and taxation.

After completing her master’s, Sonam joined Green Bean Accountants as an intern and was soon offered a permanent role as a Junior Tax Accountant. She now supports clients with tax compliance, financial reporting, and advisory services.

A self-described introvert, Sonam finds clarity and focus in accounting. “I enjoy being immersed in numbers,” she shares. “It allows me to think analytically, stay organised, and keep learning.”

She values the collaborative, supportive culture at Green Bean and is committed to delivering accurate, thoughtful, and high-quality service to her clients.

Ati

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Iran and over eight years of experience in the accounting field, working with a mining company, an economic newspaper office, and subsidiaries of the national broadcasting organization. I also completed a Master’s degree in Accounting in Australia and have been employed as a Junior Tax Consultant at Green Bean Accountants for the past one and a half years.

What first drew me to accounting was my love for numbers — I always enjoyed being immersed in figures, and what could be better than using those numbers to help manage finances?

What led me to choose tax accounting in Australia was, in part, good fortune — I found Green Bean, a company with a warm and supportive environment where I’ve been encouraged to constantly learn and grow. I truly enjoy doing work that results in people feeling satisfied and supported through the services I provide.
